Play 60
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and American Heart Association are teaming up to promote an active, heart-healthy lifestyle for middle schools students throughout Tampa Bay. By incorporating NFL PLAY 60, the Buccaneers are striving to increase the amount of children in the Bay area that participate in at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day. The schools below are competing for the chance to be named the 2012 Tampa Bay Buccaneers PLAY 60 Challenge champion. Each school is recording the minutes of activity per student on a daily basis over a 4 week period in February. Once all of the times are tallied, the schools will be ranked based on participation. Believing that everyone is a winner, each of the participating schools will receive a Health & Wellness grant from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to assist with physical education programming.
